Midlothian Valley Farm will be in it’s 11th growing season. We have had the pleasure of growing vegetables and fruit organically for 10 years. During those years we have watched the soil change to ideal conditions to grow nutritious food, following organic, sustainable and regenerative growing practices. A farm layout has been drawn for the 7 acres, mapping this years crop rotation and tentative seed and plant quantities needed for 2020 harvest.

The environment around food production has changed over the past 10 years with not much support to the smaller food growers such as our farm. It is the small farms that will sustain a community in challenging times. Given the current political and environmental atmosphere we might be in for some interesting times.

A membership to our farm reflects your commitment to our local, organic production of produce and other organic value added food products. We offer a membership to help us offset some of the initial farming cost of seeds, greenhouse set up and production.

A membership to our farm will guarantee us an acceptable marketing method given the current changing environment surrounding food production and distribution.

A membership to our farm will guarantee that your box and order if of first priority over other distribution methods.

If you are in agreement now is the time to support our farm through a Farm Membership Program. Now, more than ever we need your support to keep Midlothian Valley Farm growing an abundance of vegetables and fruit.

Farm Memberships are available starting at $200 to $600.
(The membership period would typically run from Mid May to Mid October.)

We based the lists on last year production. We might also have some new and unusual veges.
It all depends on weather, but we do believe another dry, hot year is predicted which is preferred over cool and wet.
